OCTIGO – the system behind First for Wellbeing’s wellbeing assessment – was specifically created for First for Wellbeing by a team of digital specialists, with input and backing from Northamptonshire County Council’s Public Health experts, Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust and the University of Northampton’s Institute of Health and Wellbeing Institute.
Designed and named after the eight – ‘octa-’ – areas of wellbeing, OCTIGO is a simple, easy-to-use online assessment tool that involves a series of questions to holistically assess someone’s health and wellbeing needs and goals.
The online assessment is completely free, and takes approximately 10 minutes to complete. Each person who completes the assessment is provided with an analysis at the end of their session. Anyone resulting with key ‘priority’ areas to address – such as smoking or weight management – will be assigned a dedicated wellbeing advisor to provide one-on-one advice and support to address each area.
